I also play APB Reloaded and my latency will go from 29 up to 350, then back to 29. Again, causing the game to stutter tremendously. Ping on ventrilo will spike from 39 up to 300. Ping Test is a simple tool which measures not only the download and the upload speeds of your Internet connection like many Speed Test sites, but it measures also the latency. What does it mean? The latency result is equivalent to the ping command result. In the practice, it shows how much time a packet needs to pass the route from your computer to the server and back. You probably have seen I mainly play Overwatch at the moment, and on my previous internet which was DSL, I always got a stable ping of 33-35ms with no jitter. Now when the internet is normal, my ping is 38-40ms. This is when it's working properly. As soon as primetime hits and my upload speeds are less than half, then I get anywhere from 50 - 80ms. Overwatch is the only game I’ve been having a lot of issues with. I get ping spikes anywhere between 100-1200 (normal range for me is usually between 60-80), and for the past month now I’ve started to get disconnected constantly .
